porn: men vs women?

So yesterdays porn post sparked a debate between me and my husband. I told him how would half the husbands in the world feel if their wives were looking at videos of men, pleasuring themselves. He paused for a moment and frowned before stating that it won't be ok for a wife to watch porn, because sexuality between men and women are different. I think he's full of crap, but help us settle this debate...Is watching porn different for women then it is for men? and how would your husbands feel if we turned the tables and watched videos of men pleasuring themselves to get off?

My DH feels if it's okay for him, it should be okay for me. Or any man and woman in that situation.

I am not sure. Porn has no place in our home or our marriage.

I've had this discussion with my husband. It came about because we always argued about porn. Before I get bashed for that, I want to make it clear I'm not totally against him watching porn, but he had an addiction for a long time and would not admit it. He always chose porn over being with me and having sex with me. So we argued about it a lot.

During one of those arguments, I asked him how he would feel if I watched porn to get off to, and he said he wouldn't care. He'd even think it was hot. I've got a feeling the majority of men probably feel that way about women watching it.

I think watching porn is the same no matter who it is and my SO knows I watch porn often and does not care. He however is not into porn. If he was I wouldnt care.

my husband apparently thinks since women are more emotional and we aren't just attracted to genitalia that it's  more like cheating if we watch porn then if men watch porn...Excuse me my dear husband but last i checked you also looked at more the a woman's vajayjay, he also stated that women don't need porn to get off like men.

Quoting Anonymous:

If I had issue with it, he'd just find a way to do it so I wouldnt know about it.

So rather than argue, I just compromise and ask that he keep it private and out of site. I ask that he not watch it at all but I cant tell him what to do and he's going to do it anyway if he wants, so why argue, come to a compromise and accept that he's a grown man and he's going to do what he wants, but ask that he at least delte the stuff so we dont accidently see it and do it when no one's around. No harm done unless he starts preferring it to me, then there's an issue lol

He's very computer savvy, so he knows how to cover his trail and make it appear nothing happened and play it off that he didnt do anything. But I dont question him, he's not a teenager.

this has nothing to do with the question i asked -_-.....

I don't know how he would feel. When we were dating I told him I don't watch porn. I have no problem with him watching it, I just don't enjoy watching it myself. I felt the same way with girlfriends watching porn. I just don't want to know about it.
