Stop trying to compete with me!

My sister is constantly trying to "one up" me.

I comment that I bought a book by a favorite comedian, well, SHE got an autographed copy when she MET him.

I comment that I worked out today, she works out EVERY day.

I comment that I need more bookshelves because I'm out of space for my books, she comments that she BUILT her own bookshelves.

I honestly can't take it anymore. I've told her to stop with the competition, and she claims she's not trying to be competitive. She's driving me nuts and I think I'm going to have to cut her out of my life.

Maybe she is making conversation? Would you prefer she just ignored you?

Why let it bother you?

My Sister-in-law did this with me. I just tried to stay away from her as much as possible. A lot of people are going to tell you to "just ignore it" but it really is frustrating.

ROFL! Yes, this!

OP,I think it's just a sister thing. My sister is the same exact way, so is my SIL.
