This ring is super cheap.  LIke $200.  I am not big into jewelry.  He just wants something with more than 1/10 ct. diamond.  With my first husband I didn't even have a ring.  BF freaks out over getting things perfect for me...  I don't need perfect...just him.

2 moms liked this

So he is going to disregard your feelings about the ring. Seems pushy to me.

No.  Not like that.  He just thinks when I actually get it I won't like it as much.  He wants to be perfect...

His ex did a number on him.

There's lot's of places that will custom make a ring like that for you. Or, you could upload that image into google and search for something similar.

The ring I'm looking at isn't much bigger.  I think its 1/15 but it has a ruby as the main stone and diamonds on the side.

That's really sad. :( Just keep telling him that he is what matters, not the ring. And if you truly want that ring, express that to him.

If you really like it then tell him the diamond doesn't matter cause you like that design better.
It's a ring. Tell him you want this one and if it buds him that much and then every anniversary he can get you an upgrade.

I want to ad... make sure that you stick to what you say. I used to tell DH I'd be happy with a ring from a cracker jack box as long as he proposed. He got me a diamond of course, but every so often will bring that up as a jab, lol.

I good jeweler would be able to solder a new head on it for whatever size you want (within reason).
