I'd l ike to see the numbers to back up these statistics, and the definition of "rape" used.

Because people don't report. Out of fear, because they are young, or because they know their lives will be picked apart to make them look bad. You can not go into a rapist's history. You can not paint them in a bad light. You can however go through everything the victim has and god HELP them if they did something stupid as a teenager. Like take their top off at a concert, or make out with someone at a party, or any slew of normal dumbassery kids are prone to.

It's a numbers thing.... How many rapists their are, how many rapes are reported how many are not reported, how many go to jail.

probably because many rapes go unreported. Or many times, there isn't enough evidence to arrest, or they can't find the suspect....
