I'm having serious problems

I keep having nightmares that my child is a boy. I've got it engrained into my head that it's a girl and I'm scared I'm going to be disappointed and flip out. Like bad. I've been trying to explain to my husband this stuff and he just dismisses it and says ill love the baby . I feel like it is going to ruin my family if it's a boy. Plus I'm having all of these other paranoid thoughts about my husbands work keeping him away from us and I have to do it all myself. Idk I can't go to a counselor behind his back and I'm at a loss for words. I have serious anxiety.

He thinks I'm just being dramatic and I'm a severe epileptic so I can't drive nor will anyone take me

2 moms liked this

well that is shitty of him. I will never understand why people don't take mental health as important as physical health

Yeah they have mental health issues that come to your home.

You need to seek mental health help regardless of your crazy husband's beliefs

Again, you need to seek help regardless of your crazy husband's beliefs.

If you feel that strongly that it would break up your marriage, then you should also ask to go to a women's shelter so they can help you rebuild as well.

Well there ya go.

You shouldn't let his problems stand in the way of you seeking help for yours

Why would a baby boy be a bad thing?
