I seriously JUST found out that the library loans toys! Nice toys too !!

The parachutes we used to play with in gym class

Road sign chalk stencils

Babies first ride on motorcycle

Tunnles

Sand and water toys

Activity tables for babies

Puzzles

I'm in shock! I live in a major city too, not a little suburb!

I'm excited !!! I just called the branch where they house the toys and the librarian said they have 698 toys in stock right now!! You borrow them for 3 weeks just like any other toy

The library doesn't, but I can rent those tings from the Y for birthday parties and stuff.

I've rented the large parachutes that everyone runs under.

No, but that would be kinda cool if they did. Our library let's you check out a DVD about the zoo, and after you return it you get 4 free tickets to the zoo!

That's pretty cool - is it free with your membership? I'm going to have to look into that here

Yes, ours have puppets - which is really cool. My son's behavioral therapist uses puppets alot. I'm going to ask him if he thinks it would be beneficial to do the same at home..

We loan some toy bins at the library I work at, but we're looking to loan more.
