Have you ever heard of anyone being on antibitotics for life because of MRSA?

No, over time the antibiotics would be ineffective to the best of my knowledge.

My SD mom told my Husband that she would have to take an oral antibiotic for the rest of her life. It doesnt sound right to me.

My SD had a scratch on her arm that got a MRSA infection in it 3 weeks ago.

Not to mention Liver toxicity and it compromising her immune system.

Nope..... never heard that.

People who are prone to MRSA are given diferent antibiotic creams to use on every scratch though. A friend of mine has to put it up her nose thanks to MRSA and being on oxygen

No.. they will have mrsa in their system for life... but only need antibiotics when they get an infection

Thats what I thought. Her mom is famous for embellishing how bad anything is or only half listening and filling in the rest.

She once called freaking out when the Dr. told her that SD had gastroenteritis. Yup the medical term for stomach flu. Said she had to be on a special diet for life because of it.

My son has had MRSA twice. Both times in his private region. He was on treatment for a week. The first time it was really bad and he was in the hospital for 3 days.
