I am making a gift basket for my friends baby shower gift. I want to make a baby first year survival kit. I was thinking:

-infant tylenol

-infany motrin

-infant Zarbees cough medicine

-therometer

-vicks vapor rub

what are other ideas kind of like stock the medicine cabinet survival kit. Or some comfort items other people never include as baby shower gifts but are SO needed? Thanks ahead of time

I like mommy survival gifts at showers. Aspirin, nice coffee, mini bottles, comfy pjs, vitamin b12, nice smelling soaps or shampoos (since I know that for about 3 months the only time you are alone is the shower)

There are lots more but since everyone at the shower is getting stuff for baby I love to include something nice for mommy. She's doing the real work!

Baby nail clippers are a must. Baby's nails grow so damn fast.

Teething toys, burp cloths, wet wipes, nursing pads(if you know she will), lotions, shampoo, wash cloths, bubble bath(if you know she likes to take baths) then you can add like candles, smelling salts, things like that,
