Were you a grammar Nazi before you joined CM? I get a giggle about all the grammar impaired, but it makes me down right laugh when all the nazi's come out. I have to admit I am more grammer impaired. I can't spell to save my life either. I was just reading the "are your tubes tide" post. Lol I'm 33 so.. I'm right in the middle of the super scripted era and the ru gonna b here lu2 era. Did CM make you a better writer or are you the nazi.

I try to keep my grammar in check on this site because I hate being corrected.

Yup. I like to find spelling and grammar mistakes on billboards and in print.

Generally, I won't correct grammar mistakes, unless the person is trying to insult me or is being a complete ass.  In that case, all bets are off.  LOL

Everyone makes mistakes from time-to-time and I'm not a particularly strong speller either, but I do believe it's usually evident whether it's a typo or the poster simply has horrible grammar.

Most of the time I restrain myself, but sometimes I can't properly answer someone's post because I get too wrapped up in the horrible grammar and punctuation(or lack of it).

Depends. I correct my children for improper grammar and it makes my head hurt IRL when I hear people speaking- "I seen him do it", She kild hisself" and things like that.

On here it depends on what is being said. If you are calling someone out on something and being nasty about it, yes I will correct them. We all make mistakes from time to time.

I don't bother with things that could easily be typos (like "tide" rather than "tied") but I will point out atrocious spelling ("ritous" instead of "righteous").
