I work patient access at our county hospital, and it's so annoying when women put on the EMPLOYMENT line "Stay at home mom"!! Get over yourself, you're fucking unemployed.

ETA: I love how all you Butt hurt moms keep posting the definition of UNEMPLOYMENT to try to prove me wrong, yet no one is posting the definition of FUCKING EMPLOYMENT! LOL regardless if "unemployment" isn't the technical correct status to write, SAHM for damn sure isn't EMPLOYMENT

If they put preschool or daycare worker on there, no one would think twice. What exactly is the difference between the two? The daycare worker gets a paycheck and goes home at the end of the day, while the stay at home mom works 24/7 without any breaks.

You shouldn't leave lines blank on a form.  When people list SAHM on the employment line, they're simply acknowledging they don't work outside the home rather than putting N/A.

So perhaps you should get over yourself and your superiority complex.
