My sister informed me I was to watch her two children 5 and 18 month old while she worked yesterday and today. Note she didn't ask just informed. Ok I am watching the kids. They all live with me as my sister is newly divorced. This morning I woke at 5:00 to the sounds of the wee one crying. My sis went in there and woke her up. Ok babies wake up I get it. Well she then left baby in crib to take a shower and baby was crying for mommy. Ok fine I scoop up baby as to not wake the little 5 yr old that is sleeping on the bed in the same room. Just as I get baby settled down sleeping back in crib, my sister wakes up 5 yr old. It takes five mins as she was soundly sleeping and now she is up and dear mommy is leaving for work both crying and in the wee ones crib together. I find this very rude! I am the one that is watching them till their father picks up for his one night this week visitation that should have started at 7:30 am yet now is 5:00 pm. She has seen them all week. Why didn't she wake them up when she got home last night. Oh it's because she was tired, well I am tired because I was watching them yesterday too. I love them to pieces however this is a favor so don't make it a hardship! Oh and to top it off she gave 5 yr old cake for breakfast! Ughhhh!

Update: Less than a half hour till they are picked up and no they never went back to sleep. So they are in a great mood lol

So, tell her no the next times she informs you of something. "No, sorry, I'm busy." Boom, problem solved.

Why did she wake them up. I would inform her that she needs to ask you to watch the kids.

Did she wake them up to say goodbye or was she just noisy?

Right I know! I did say since she woke her to take her to work lol, I know she can't. She then said well  since DD and DS won't be here tonight and That she wanted to see her. I replied well that's divorce and to stopinconveniencing everyone to fulfill her wants. She then gave DD the cake!
