What's your favorite dang we broke meal?

Posted by   + Show Post

Mine is hamburg gravy on mashed potatoes..or sometimes french fries. Oh and tuna noodle caserole is a cheap one too.

Even though I don't necessarily have to be poor to make this for dinner :)

What's yours?

Mashed potato sandwiches? Never heard of them. Sounds intriguing though.

Quoting Anonymous:

Mashed potatoe sandwiches... I eat them all the time, not even because I'm broke...just addicted to them I guess. lol. Spaghetti is another one unless I decide to make my own sauce...completely depends on time frame but making the sauce is a little more expensive...

My husband was laid off last year. When he went grocery shopping he bought giant packs of Ramen. I asked why? He said that's what poor people eat & we are now poor. We are that for lunch for months lol!
