Answer....yes, if your the Carnegie art museum in Pittsburgh. We were on a class trip walking through the exhibits and to the side of the exhibits are small theatres showing short films on artists ect. Well our group walks into one and bam pornographic cartoon. I mean hardcore stuff. We quickly hustled the kids out. But it art so its okay. Now if we had shown the to minors any where else it would be a crime. So how does this make sense? They dont have to remove it, but a sign warning patrons would be nice!

They should definitely have some kind of warning. Do you know what exhibit it was for? Just curious.

As the owner of a tattoo shop, my kids have been exposed to sexual art but yeah I can see how thats not something kids should be seeing on a school field trip! Lol but I guess you just have to learn to deal with seeing sexual stuff in public. Was it like a video of the characters doing sexual acts or just pictures?

Yeah then I definitely think they should have a warning sign up. You should have mentioned it to the front desk.

Seems like they are slapping the "art" label on everything these days.

Why did anyone not ask front desk about that exhibit while the class was there?   That style of story telling is still a form of art thought not appropriate for some people.
