I think I'm in labor?

I'm 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant. DH and I had sex about an hour ago, and I've had 4 really strong contractions since. Can contractions make your belly look lopsided when it tightens up, though? And is it normal for baby to still move in between?

Just lay down and rest.If your contractions get stronger or your water breaks then head to the hospital.

Didn't your OB give you a 24 hour number you can call?

Lay on your left side and see if it eases up

Call your OB if it continues.

I don't want to call her this late if it's nothing. Just wondering if this could be the real thing.

This. And drink water. If they don't ease up its probably labor

That's kind of what she's there for

And yes, it could be the real thing. Wait an hour, if it hasn't let up, call her asap

Call your OB, or the hospital you are going to and talk to a nurse. Also, start timing the contractions, lay down, drink a few glasses of water. If they don't subside or become more intense or close, go to the hospital.

Yes they can make you lopsided. When your stomach tightens around the bulk of the baby that side is going to stick out morr

It could be labor, like previous poster said if your water breaks or they stay regular and get stronger and last an hour or two, than call your ob/midwife and go in. also to answer your question..yes in early labor baby may still move between contractions and yes your belly can be lopsided :) good luck mama!

I usually get 4-6 contractions then assholes go away -.- I'm almost 39 weeks. If they come & go every 5-7 min consistently then it's labor. They also should start getting stronger. If anything call your Obgyn on call.
