We just finished my sons first weekend of baseball. It was very exciting, the kids were all amazing and all pulled their weight. which is just amazing to see!!
But what I couldn't believe that I saw was one child(of course the fattest little kid on the team) as soon as he got set up in the dug out took out a pile of snacks. He had Oreos...yes Oreos...goldfish, grapenuts and cheeze its. I had to call my son over and have a talk about not eating from this child's buffet and how he should behave in a dug out, which of course we've talked about before but he's 10 so a reminder was necessary.
The coach had to go over to this mom and have a talk with her about how our kids are WAY too old to be bringing food into the dug out.
We get 20ish minutes in between games, plenty of time to feed your child a light lunch if you feel they need it.
What is with these people who feed the need to constantly snack?
