OK, let me just say, that for boys I prefer short hair.  My son will have a traditional "boy" cut until he's old enough for his own opinion.  But, to each their own.  I don't personally care if you want your son to have long hair.

My issue is women who refuse to cut their son's hair because of his GORGEOUS curls!  Most of the time it is just scraggly hair, that's why after they cut them they never come back. Because they were never curls in the first place!!  It looks gross and unruly and they are not curls!  I have an acquaintance that almost three years after she cut her son's hair the first time still will go on and on about his sweet curls that never came back.  I am not talking about little boys with actual curly hair.

Sorry this vent has absolutely no meaning, but between my few whack-a-doo acquaintances and the ladies on here that show off their son's adorable curls that aren't curls it's just been irking me lately.

OK this is an example of what I mean, this is my own child.

This is my daughter after a shower, she didn't brush or comb her hair, and it air dried right at her neck.  It is a scraggly (yet clean) mess.  This is not curly hair, it's straight hair that dried funny.

This is my daughter when her hair has been taken care of, no curling, just straight hair.

I don't like long hair on baby boys, teenage boys, or men.

For some reason, this totally cracked me up. I am picturing little boys with scrungy mullets. And I always get annoyed at totally random and irrelevant things!

My son had curly hair but I cut it as soon as it needed it. He still has the curls.

This is just too long for my taste.

But the curls are very pretty. I just don't think I'd want my boys to have hair that long.

Do you know what a mullet is? That is NOT business up front, though it does party in the back.
