Did you change your last name when you got married? If you're divorced, did you keep your married or maiden name?

I changed my last name to my husbands. Debated for a bit cuz ds has my maiden name and I don't plan to change it even once my dh adopts him unless ds wants it. My dad didn't have any boys and I'd rather ds keep it...didn't want a different last name than ds, but wanted mt husbands last name..

I took my husbands name.  Unlike the author in the huffingtonpost I don't consider keeping my name to be important, nor did I want to deal with a hyphenated name.  I wanted my dh, children and I to all share just one last name.

I took his last name. Marriage is for life, I'm not going to cling to my old name.

I kept my last name. We've been married for 12 years and he has never had an issue with it.
