Hey allergy sufferers(pollen), got a question!

Talking to a friend today about my dd's allergies ( poor girl has been hit hard this spring :-( ) she said a natural remedy is to eat a spoonful of locally made honey a day (mix it in drinks or food). It's supposed to help znd talking to another friend she says her mom swears by it and her father does it and no longer has to get the allergy shots. So, has anyone else heard/tried this?

I've heard of it, tried it & it doesn't work for me. My friend swears it works for her, though.

I have allergy shots personally. I do have a friend though that has tried this and she swears it helped her

Most people don't get immediate relief. You have to take the local, raw honey daily for up to a year before its benefits kick in. I take stinging nettle, also natural, and that works pretty well for me.

It's an old wives tale, but people who believe it works tend to get relief (placebo effect)

Ive heard it but I haven't known anyone that's actually seen results from it.

It does work, you need to get it from someone as close to your home as possible, and it needs to be raw honey.

My dr said it has to be locally made and it does help, but it doesn't provide instant relief.
