If you've had an abortion, do you count that in your total number of pregnancies or children?

No, neither, unless it's my doctor. I don't even think about it unless something brings it up. It's been 10 years, and it certainly wasn't a child, and I don't feel the need to explain that one of my pregnancies I aborted as quickly as I could. I have three kids, they're 4, 2, and 3 months. No more, no less.

I haven't but I'm pro choice, I've had 4 miscarriages and I count them as pregnancies but not children. Medically a doctor considers it a pregnancy but not a child. They always ask me "how many pregnancies, how many children" I would assume an abortion would be the same (medically) as a spontaneous abortion

As far as total number of pregnancies, it counts. I don't care how it is counted personally, but medically, a pregnancy is a pregnancy regardless of outcome.

Lying to your doctor is stupid.
