She is having her cousin's baby! Great or gross?

Last summer, my sister in law married her 1st cousin.  It is not legal in our state but she had a big farce of a formal wedding and then drove to another state to get legally married.  Neither my husband or I agree with marrying family members. We were actually pretty horrified and disgusted!  For the sake of not burning bridges with his sister, we went to the wedding.  We survived the fiasco by keeping a low profile, refusing photos, refusing to take our kids to witness that mess and staying mildly inebriated.  The whole thing was pretty nausiating.

I really was very sad about her choice because I would have loved to celebrate her wedding with her as a SIL should.

Now, 10 months later, she is having his baby.  Again, I want to be happy for her but I cannot support her choice to have children with a family member!  So, here it is.. what would you do?

What would it have to do with me? I wouldnt want to marry someone in my family, so I didnt. I wouldnt refuse family photos a such because someone else decided to.

No big deal. I used to be weirded out by it. But then I married in to a culture where it's normal. So I did my research. It's really not a big thing.

Just keep your distance, and they'll take the hint.

I would stop being so damn judgy and enjoy my family if I truly loved them. You obviously don't so you should probably stay away and let them live in peace without your presence.
