Did it go away because of him?

My just-turned-one year old has been nursing more lately, he's teething and wants to nurse, my period is late and pregnancy test was negative.  Is it possible that the more frequent nursing caused me to miss a period?  I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow, but just wondering if anyone has experienced this?

Sorry I'm no help, my periods were regular from day one with breastfeeding.

I'm afraid I'm no help either :/  My periods started 2 months after I had my dd even though I was breastfeeding but they were always very irregular which is why I didn't think anything out of the ordinary when I missed 2 months (turned out I was pregnant again). I hope your doctor is able to help sort things out!

Yes, breastfeeding can cause irregular periods. I had 45 days between periods after I had my first. My periods returned when little one was 15 months old.

It could be. Has it been regular up to this point?  I know I would start the day after I thought for sure I was pregnant, AFTER spending $15 on a pregnancy test haha!! Did you have unprotected sex? How late are you?

It's been fairly regular, not off a lot.  My DS started his night nursing a lot last month while he was teething.  DH and I aren't using any birth control right now, we'd like another baby, but we aren't exactly trying very hard either.  I'm a few days late, but drugstore pregnancy test said I wasn't pregnant.

I would wait a few days and try testing again.

I did an OPK about a week ago, and it said I was ovulating around day 21, definitely much further into my cycle.
