This seems to be the conclusion some crazies on here are making.Does anyone really think a person who wont go to a dry wedding is an alcoholic or drunk?

No I just think you are along the lines of a selfish, greedy asshole.

Is it and 'or' question or an 'and' question?

I don't think that it necessarily makes a person a drunk or an alcoholic, but I fail to understand the logic of refusing to go simply because it's dry.

I'd say it indicates a pretty big issue with alcohol.  Of course an open bar is a lot more enjoyable but if the only reason you don't attend a couples wedding is due to alcohol or no alcohol, there is an issue.

You're not necessarily an alcoholic, that's a strong word to be thrown around.

If you refuse to go to a wedding simply because it is dry, then you're a greedy snob and I wouldn't want you at my wedding if I were the bride!

I don't agree, but I think refusing to go to a wedding because it's a dry wedding is silly. (If there was another post this is a spin off of, I missed it).

I mean, it's just another night. I don't drink often and could certainly enjoy a wedding without alcohol. (Or with it, doesn't matter)
