My husband is lactose intolerant but wont stop eating dairy. He has a freakin big bowl of icecream before he goes to bed / with whipcream. I ask him not to and he says he wont. But he does.I know his body but have you ever had to sleep nexxt to someone who is highly lactose intolerant but eats a big bowl of ice cream / with whipcream before bed. Its not pretty. Every five minutes KABOOM! Oh, I am sorry honey. Dont eat the freakin icecream.

Stop buying it.  Buy non-dairy frozen treats, like popsicles or fruity based things.

I'm allergic to milk and I just don't keep that stuff in the house so I'm not tempted.

Or dryers makes a lactose free vanilla, try that.

What does it do to him when he eats it. If he is willing to suffer the consiquences there isn't much you can do about it

I'd start throwing it out when he does that.  Or as another said, he can sleep on the couch.

Do any of the medications help?  I know they make some stuff to help lactose related issues, but I'm not well versed on them.

He is a grown man, so if he eats it make him sleep on the couch.
