I have a neighbor that raises dotsons and in her house she has all her prized dotsons that  have died stuffed and displayed in areas of her house. her first is in her bedroom next to her bed. I am sorry. I just find this kind of creepy. My daughter is scared to go over there because her older sister let her in on the fact they were one alive. She is scared they are going to attack her. I try to explain to her they are dead and not coming back. The one is nice don't get me wrong I just find it creepy.

Dachsunds, lol!!

And yes, it's creepy. But, I Have my dogs cremated and keep the ashes, so maybe I'm creepy too.

Reminds me of Scrubs.  lol

Not creepy in and of itself.  But if they treat it like it's alive and such...maybe.

Yes. My MIL has the ashes of her dogs on her dresser with a lock of their hair in a picture frame. I find that creepy.

Well, to be fair, people have lots of wild animals taxidermied and displayed in their homes. How much different is this?

Meh, I have dead deer hanging on my walls, so it doesn't bother me.

My dachshund from when I was a kid is buried in my backyard. There is also a rabbit and three other dogs from my childhood. In the back of the garden two cats and my favorite dog are buried. He hated being in the fence, so that is why he is buried in the back of the garden (we don't plant back there). I wish I had gotten him cremated.
