A  lot of people tell me i should get my son into modeling (even a couple of people on here have said it, when i posted a picture of him). I have always thought about it, but don't know where to start. How do i get him into modeling? There is an agency that wants to represent him but i am required to pay $200, my husband is up for it but i have heard if you have to pay its a scam..

Yes its not for everyone and it honestly took a long time to even consider it. My son likes pictures and he is cute, so i see no harm in it. Im not looking to get deep into it and if he doesnt enjoy it, i would stop.

Many agencies have agency fees, and that doesn't make them a scam.

Any reputable agency will not require any money from you. They make their money by getting your son jobs.

As someone who owns 22% of a modelling agency, all I can say is if you have to pay for anything up front it is a scam, and good luck because chances are he will never see a job regardless.

My cousin is a model and says that real talent agencies never require you to pay them upfront. The ones wanting payment like that are shady at best and most likely scamming you.
