your in a relationship (NOT MARRIED) and you both get into an arguement and he gives you the cold shoulder. You keep pursuing calling. he finally answers. Then months later you find out that he actually broke up with you and had sex with someone else. But he tells you that you were broken up though. is this cheating?? or should you take it as you guys were broken up anyways even though you did not agree to it?

You move on.  The definition doesn't really matter.

Yeah, if you were truely broken up, you both would know it.

Of course it's cheating, that isn't a man I'd want in my life. He can't even own up to his actions, making up excuses and deflecting the blame. Loser!!

IMO, if you have to ask the answer is yes.

He never told you the relationship was over.  Had you known that, you might not have tried so hard to patch it up.  He took away your informed consent on decisions in your life, made a few big steps of his own, and then picked up where he left off.

It doesn't matter what you call it, cheating or not, it's a sign that he is not a real man and you move on.

If he failed to tell you at the time that you were broke up, then yes, I would consider this cheating.

Yes it is cheating. Sounds like a bullshit excuse he is going to keep using every time he gets into an argument with his girlfriend.
