adoption is selfish

Is it really selfish of me to want to adopt my baby to a couple who can't have kids? This is all I've heard from my family since I told them. :(

Not at all. If you aren't ready and they are, it's a win win.

No. It's the opposite of selfish.

Selfish? No

But it isn't the greatest thing in the world either

Do some research on what birth mothers and adoptees go thru after an adoption.

Talk to women who have given their babies up. Talk to people who were adopted (PM me to talk to n adoptee if you want)

Make sure you know EXACTLY what you are doing and how it will effect you and your child

Good Luck

Selfless. Obviously there is a reason you dont think you can take care of this baby. If you really cant, its kind of selfish to keep it

Not at all. The opposite.

And, all adopted children DON'T feel the same about being adopted. All parents who have a child adopted don't feel the same about their decision.

I wouldn't have my daughter if it weren't for a birthmom. She gave me the best gift of my life. A chance to have a child and being able to raise her. My daughter is my heart and soul. I would do anything to protect her from harm. She will be 20 in July. She knows her birthmom and her 5 half brothers.
