She has herpes

My conscious is bothering me. I was sitting with my boyfriend and his friend today as they talked. His friend was talking about how he would kill a girl if she had herpes and didn't tell him. I know he didn't mean it literally but I understand how he feels. That's kind of messed up to not disclose that you have an STD before sleeping with someone.

Anyway, my conscious is bothering me because he is sleeping with my friend...who has herpes. I know this because she told me she has herpes and I have picked up her valtrex for her when she we busy at work. And I know it's unprotected because she just aborted his baby.

We aren't as close as we used to be. She really just uses me for money. I feel like I'll be a terrible friend even though we don't speak like we used to if I told. Should I let my boyfriend know that she has herpes so he can let his friend know or just keep it to myself?

I'd tell him.  I'd be ashamed if I had a "friend" like that.

Thanks. It was bothering me before since I knew she had it. I just left it alone because it wasn't my business and i wasn't sure if they had talked about it. But now hearing him talk about it, it's obvious he has no idea.

I'd tell him, even though the damage has most likely been done.

If he is not taking responsibility for his own body by using protection and insisting on testing prior to unprotected sex, that is his problem. Not yours.  I would not say a thing.
