My daughter had a dance recital this weekend. It was pre-k through 12th. There is only one boy at the studio and he is about 7. Shortly after starting rehearsal several parents were talking about being upset the little boy was allowed to change in the same area. The band room was used as a dressing room. Each student bad 2-4 outfits and girls were constantly changing. Would this brother you ?

No. They are children. I'm sure they don't get naked and most see more of their older or younger brothers at home.

Good grief, parents sure know how to muck things up

No, but I do think they should of had a curtain for the boy so he wouldn't be embarrassed as the only boy there.

1 mom liked this
It would depend on how much they had to take off. I wouldn't want my 7 yo seeing a senior in the buff.

They do have to completely undress at time, just to clarify.

No, my daughter still shares a changing room with boys at competions where our studio have our own dressing room. We just hang up certians for everybody to get changed behind. I wouldn't give a second thought about sharing with a 7 year old.

I seriously 100% doubt that the kids get stark naked.

No. I was in theater and show choir through college. We changed in front of each other all the time backstage. You have to.

It's not a big deal. When kids are performing, you're not thinking about the nekkid. You're thinking about your performance!

Of course they do if they have to change completely. My daughter had to once but she made me hold up a blanket. Not everyone was so shy
