I've never forced gender roles onto my kids. They can like and play with whatever they want, and I won't try to stop them. They recently discovered My Little Pony on Netflix, and I haven't said a word about it. But that all changed today. I took my 6yo to pick out some new underwear. To get to the little boys section we had to go through the little girls. He lit up like a kid on Christmas and said he wanted the MLP ones.

No. Just no. I consider myself somewhat of a liberal, but that's just a bit too far for my tastes.

My son is 4 and likes MLP. He doesn't watch tv often but once in awhile he will pick something from netflix and he's picked that a few times.

In love MLP.

Maybe try and exi girl panties are different than boy panties and they dont have that design in boys underwear.

They should have that design for boys.

I bought my daughter super hero underwear from the boy section when she was going through her super hero phase at around 5 years old

Well it's not your tastes that matter. Way to be supportive and teach your son it's OK to be himself.

Why though? It will be under his clothes so nobody else is going to see it. The only thing boy undies have going for them is the little penis pocket, but I have never even seen a man or child that uses them lol... All the guys I have been with and my boys pull the undies down.
