How much can you misinterpret this text?

I texted the daycare provider as my phone was about to die and I do know she checks Her texts. My text said " call x to ask if he can pick up y as I don't know when I will get out of er. Ph 2223335644" . What does the daycare owner do? Text back asking " is this for me"?

I can understand if my sons name was as common as john . But he has a very unique name so if I am writing his name and if she checks our emergency contacts , I was listing the father of my son in my text.

glad er released me on time before daycare closed or dad would have never known .

i did call dad and left a message and I texted him as well. Then I texted the provider. I was in er with a phone that was about to die, not mulch that I could do

I can see where she wouldn't have known if it was for her or not.

If I were a daycare provider, I wouldn't expect that I'm supposed to find your child a ride home. I may have initially thought that text was meant for someone else (as in, you texting a friend to ask dad to pick up the child, and just accidentally texted me).

Why don't you text the person. Figuring out who is picking up your child isn't her job.
If course she questioned if the text was for her.
