That's what I sold my textbook for today. I paid $100 and I got $24. Lame. But...I have 0 reason to keep the book and $24 is 24 more dollars than I had this morning.

I totally understand why they don't pay more for used books, but man does it hurt to sell them back knowing what you paid for them. lol

A textbook. "The Molecular Life of Plants." I dropped the class early in the semester (and boy did I catch hell for it) but I had not yet sold the book. It was for a plant physiology class.

I did that once. I paid $24 online but sold it back for $95.

Well, look at it this way. You probably made life a lot easier for some broke college kid. 

You did a good thing.
