I had it removed for cosmetic reasons, now I have a damn crater. I should have kept the mole.

That doesn't look right. My DH has had quite a few removed. The only one that looked like that was the one the dermatologist screwed up.

I've had one removed. Middle of my back, at first it was flat but grew into a ball shape. Not dangerous but would catch on bras. It was nothing compared to that. She used a medical grade scraper, like razor to take it off. What did your doc use? Was it a dermatologist?

I still have a circular scar that itches sometimes, it was 4 hrs ago.

He used a scaple, cut it off and stitched it up.

I had the same thing, it will heal nicely, I still have a slight silverish scar but barely noticeable. Yes you should've had it removed because even benign moles can turn carcinogenic over time and with sun exposure. Hang in there mama;)

(And looks like yours had to be shaved pretty deep like mine.)

Ds had a mole removed, but the dr sewed him up after the took it

My mom had a mole removed on her face. I have the same mole in the same spot. I'll never have it removed. IMO the scar is worse than the mole ever was.
