TMI, gross... but seriously?

Okay first off, I know that no one can "answer" this, and I need to see a doctor to know...

Last night I had sex with my DH.

This morning, I woke up... Used the bathroom, and pushed out a small piece of tissue? It was covered in blood, and reminded me of a slug. It was about the size of a penny, in length. Maybe a tad bit bigger.

Any mama's possibly know what this might be? Ideas?

I'm on the Mirena. (Have been for almost a year).

I have no idea what it *could* be.

That used to happen when I was on my period but it hasn't with the Mirena. I've heard of them "migrating" in the uterus. Definitely see your doctor.

Thank you so much! I don't know if it could potentially be relevant or not... but my mother had endometriosis.. I don't know if it could be related to that at all, miscarriage? I don't know if it's normal-ish?

I had my period a week ago, so..?

Sounds like a clot.

The wire from the mirena could have cut you a little and scrapped some skin off of your cervix or a blood clot from your last period that got knocked loose.

Sounds like a piece of uterine tissue. Depending on how rough it was he could have bumping your cervix causing the mirena to shift inside causing sloughing. It should go away

Sounds like a clot. I would call your ob to be sure, but I wouldn't stress.
