If someone invited your child to go to an amusement park~ would you expect to pay for their ticket? Update

My son wants to invite 2 of his friends to an amusement park for the day- for his birthday. I can get the tickets at a discount price for $32 each. We wanted to pay his friends way also but with gas (it is 2 hours away), food, and us already buying 4 tickets for our family...... would it be rude to ask the parents to pay for their childs ticket?

*Thanks for all the comments- this is our first time inviting friends to something like this so I wasn't sure how it went. His actual birthday is a few days before and we are doing a party then so this is more just something for fun but also a birthday gift from us.

* We are going to pay for the 2 tickets for the kids- and might even add one more:)

Yes. I think if you INVITE the kids then you PAY. We have taken friends' kids and pay. We provide food money as well but the parents always give their kids "spending" money. We don't buy toys or trinkets.

Honestly, I would expect the person asking to pay, but I would definitely make the offer to pay myself.

Yes. An invitation is all inclusive in my opinion

Rude to ask yes, it's for your kids birthday.
Meaning you are paying for it.
