I'd be pissed!

My neighbors window got broke. Property management says she has to pay for a new window. Kids were throwing rocks and they broke it and ran like most kids would do. Now I could understand if she broke
The window is $500.00.

Do you think it's fair that she has to replace he window?

Our complex if full of rocks no grass just rocks and every apartment has huge windows all over.
Rocks , kids, kids, rocks = broke windows.

Eta:She doesn't have renters ins. Her income is just social security

Was it her kids the broke the window by throwing rocks or just some random kids in the area?

Eta I read it again. Sounds like random kids. I don't think she should have to pay for it. I'd be pissed too.

I don't think she should have to pay, unless it was her kids that did it (doesn't sound like it was). I would be speaking to those children's parents. They are the ones who should have to pay.

Renters insurance would / should cover it.

I wish we knew witch kids did it there are 60 apartments here and at least 45 of them have kids

I have kids asking if my kids can go play with them. My kids are 6 & 4. They don't even go out front without me

She needs to go after the parents of the children who broke the window.  But now it is her word against theirs and we all know who the parents will believe.
