Not agreeing with something, not supporting things such as gay marriage, does not make someone a bigot or intolerant. Not agreeing does not mean, they are fearful of them, or hate them. I respect their right to be who they are but I do not have to agree or say it is ok. The terms bigotry and intolerance are thrown around way to freely. Most of the time it is going hand n hand with someone being nasty/hateful about another's religious beliefs, is this not doing exactly what you are accusing the other person of being/doing. Words have meaning, using these words when it is not accurate diminishes its meaning and impact.

Everybody wants tolerance until somebody doesn't have the same opinion as them.

CM members as a group cannot comprehend this.

Most of the general population can't either though.

True. You also don't have to are about everybody else's problem, neither. That doesn't make you a bad person.

Not agreeing with something is one thing. It's your right to not agree with something. It's when those who don't agree with something try to restrict the rights of others based on those beliefs that it becomes a problem.

Exactly. Some people can't see that. I don't agree with homosexuality but I don't shun, picket, hate or yell epithets at those who are gay. I just have a different opinion and it stops there. I am not a bigot.

That still does not make them a bigot.
