How many hours of my life will I waste...

Our upstairs a/c died last Sunday.  It wasn't DOA but the flux capacitor died and burned out the fan, which equates to 1/3 the price of a brand new one and no guarantees it will keep running.  The damn thing has been on it's last legs since we bought the house.

Finally decided to go with two new units.  They came on Wednesday, we had cool air again (and then working heat on Thursday).  FABULOUS!

Today, they installed the second unit.  Awesomesauce.

Nope - they left the units last Wednesday they would be installing today in my garage, they are still there.  The new thermostat is not programmable like the upstairs one.  No biggie, can be easily remedied in an hour.

But the big kicker, the one that has me seriously annoyed - I spent six hours today while they installed the a/c and the motherfucker doesn't even cool.

SHOOT ME NOW!

Then they need to come out and deal with that shit pronto! Too bad you have to waste the time to have them do it.

The flux capicator?
Maybe you should just take your ac back to the last ice age. It will be cooler then. Or you could just skip summer?

When the repairman said, I started giggling and almost called him Doc.

Turns out after googling, there truly is a flux capacitor.

Just spent nearly $8K and wasted about 20 hours researching and dealing with replacements.  This is time, I will not get back.  But thanks for letting me know that I will live.

Quoting notjstasocermom: You'll live.
