My son has been in jail for about a month now and I am still not going to bail him out.

My son got a DWI and a DUID. He called me to bail him out I told him hell now

I was hit and nearly killed by a drunk driver. After being in a coma for 2 weeks and having 2 surgeries I luckily pulled through. I told all my kids that if they were ever stupid enough to drive while under the influence and got pulled over I would do nothing to help them

Well you can say something so many times but clearly my DS didnt listen. As far as I know no one is willing to bail him out.

I am so hurt and disappointed that he would even do that after he saw what I went through. I hope to god he learns from this.

ETA: It has been 8 days now....still none of his friends will bail him out. I am not going to either.

ETA 2: it has been about a month. He has no clue when his trial will be. Still no one has bailed him out

It says something about your son that he hasn't found anyone else to bail him out either.

I agree with you. I wouldn't bail him out either if he was my son.

How old is he?

Innocent until proven guilty in this country and that little thing called the right to bail. I would get my son out and hire an attorney if that were me.

I might consider bailing him out and then putting him into an inpatient rehab. But, I understand why you aren't.

Oh then I would definitely let him sit there and not bail him out.
Good luck Momma.
