I call dd's dad to check on her? He has had her over night since Friday I miss my baby and haven't seen her since she left. I try not to call because him and his wife get pissed if I do.

He has her until tomorrow night at 6p. He's never kept her for 4 days in a row like this. I understand this is his holiday but I just want to hear from my baby.

You have every right to check on your child. If he gets pissed, oh well. You are doing nothing wrong.

My dd is 4 I have an old android I could give her so she could call me whenever she gets ready but I'd be scared they'll take it from her

I think it is perfectly fine. Heck, I call my Ex after a three ours of having our 1 year old son. But then again, he doesn't take him much.

I think it is fine. Oh well if he gets angry.

Why wouldn't she be okay? She is with two adults.

My son is 13 almost 14, so it's different.

I would call her every night to tell her good night.

While I think that there is nothing wrong with calling to check on her, it is sort of late.  Maybe call in the AM.
