I'm looking at this kid wondering if she is dh's

My husband told me that he thought he might have a kid our there. This child would be about 10 or 11. I found the supposed mother, who does indeed have a kid in that age range. We looked and analyzed and the girl looks so much like her mom that we can't tell if she even remotely looks like dh. We don't want to prod into their life of there's no reason, but it bugs dh. He wants to know.

What an awesome man that he KNEW there was a chance he had a kid but did NOTHING about it.

Maybe he needs to ask her if that child is his.

What's brought about the sudden curiosity after so many years?

if she IS indeed his kid, he does not deserve to be storming into her life NOW and she does not deserve the turmoil around it.   He lost his chance to be a man.

Did the mom ever tell him there was a chance the child is his? Or us this a gut feeling thing?

Why does he think she is his? Did he just, after ten years, realize this? If not, he has no right to try and butt into her life.

would you want a stranger randomly posting pics of your kid?

Why now? What is going to do if she is his? Is he going to charge into the poor girl's life and make demands of her?

If SHE is seeing the kid on Facebook or whatever, it's already out there.
