Do you think birth rape is real?

As someone who was assaulted as a child for years I say leave it to the victims to identify with whatever term they want.  

I think if it causes PTSD for some women then it has to have been just as traumatic.

If you don't think it is real can you explain your reasoning in an intelligent way?

I think the terminology is kind of misleading. But I do think it's very traumatic.

The women who freak out because their birth experience wasn't the exact scenario in their head irritate me. I guess I don't really know what birth rape is.

Yes.
Some women are violated during birth, and just because its by a doctor and by an object, doesnt make it any less rape.

Okay as someone who was raped for years, I don't have a problem with someone using the term to describe their own feeling on how they were treated. 

I'm curious why you think it is stupid to call it that?  Can you explain?
