What would you add or take away from my dinner menu this week?
Sunday-spaghetti
Monday-leftover spaghetti
Tuesday-bacon and eggs
Wednesday-baked pork chops, au gratin potatoes, broccoli,
Thursday-lasagna & garlic bread
Friday-homemade chicken nuggets and french fries
Please be specific. I am aware there are too many starches, not enough green vegetables/vegetables, and too much meat. All additions need to be cost friendly.

I know. I did a similar post last week and got told we eat a lot of crap. No real suggestions for healthier options. That is why I asked for responders to be specific.

Salad, yellow squash/zucchini, broccoli

I'd add those in several places.

Other than that, seems good. But I'd switch Monday's leftovers with probably Tuesday's menu so as not to have spaghetti two nights in a row.

Sunday-spaghetti


Monday-leftover spaghetti - Do this later in the week. Maybe Tuesday. Who wants to eat spaghetti two days in a row? Switch Monday and Tuesday's meal.


Tuesday-bacon and eggs - Do spaghetti this day. With garlic bread.


Wednesday-baked pork chops, macaroni and cheese, broccoli w/cheese sauce - Leave it at that. Or add baked potatoes.


Thursday- lasagna - Try adding a salad with it.


Friday-homemade chicken nuggets and french fries - Make the mac and cheese here instead.

I think I will add salads to the spaghetti and lasagana.

Monday, I'd lose spaghetti again. I can't eat the same dinner two nights in a row. :p

Not enough variety. I try to make a new recipe once a week and pasta only once a week. It just seems boring.

I was thinking the same thing. My dh helped make the list this week. He could eat pasta everyday.

I was thinking of taking out the lasagna. I'm sure I could spend less money on something different anyway.
