My son walked in on me and my bf and before I could explain to him what was going on he told my DH

He was supposed to be away for the weekend bu he decided to come home early without telling anyone. Well my bf was there and we were kissing and watching a movie.

My son saw and freaked out and before I could explain to him what was going on he went and told my DH.

We have a pretty open marriage. As long as we know about the other person it is okay if we are with them. It has been this way for a long time but the kids never knew.

My son was shocked when he found out. He though my DH and I were messing with him.

ETA he is 17

Why would you tell him anything about it?  The kids SHOULDN'T know anything about your messed up life.  You are screwed up and now you've screwed your kid up too.  Congrats.  (And if you don't believe it, just wait.)

Great example for your children.  How will they learn loyalty if you have an open marriage that you're basically flaunting?

You still have loyalty in an open marriage
