Stay at home moms! I have

A few questions:

1. Do you have access to cash or bank account or any money in any way?

2. Do you have access to a vehicle?

3. Do you do all the housework (cooking, cleaning, laundry) or is it split up?

4. When your other half gets home, are the child care duties split or is it all you?

Just curious!
Thanks :)

1- Yes, we have a joint account, and we each have a savings account, as well as a joint savings.
2- Yes, in fact, both cars are in my name, since I'm the one home and able to do the running around when we need to register vehicles.
3- We split it, but the kids all have chores (they are 12-18)
4- When the kids were little, yes, he pulled his share.

1. Yes, I have credit and debit cards. As well as my name on our savings/investment accounts.
2. Yes, I have my own car.
3. I do most of the housework. We have a 5 week old, so right now less is getting done while my husband is at work. Some of it is split in the evenings and some of it is just ignored for a day or two.
4. If anything my husband takes over more of an active parenting role when he's home.

1. Yes. His paycheck goes into MY checking account.

2. We each have a car.

3. He helps with housework. I have some health issues and it's hard for me to keep up.

4. He helps with the kids. They are a little older so don't really need a whole lot.

I have access and control ALL finances.
Yes, I have my own car.
I do all housework, but he cooks once a week in the winter, and almost everyday in the summer. He also does garbage sometimes and mows the lawn every week.
Child care duties fall mostly on me, but he helps where he can. A few times a month he takes them out on a weekend so I can have "me time".

I work part-time but I still consider myself a SAHM.

1. Do you have access to cash or bank account or any money in any way?  All of our money is in joint accounts.

2. Do you have access to a vehicle?  Yes, I have my own car.

3. Do you do all the housework (cooking, cleaning, laundry) or is it split up?  I do pretty much all of it.  We split cooking when he is home.

4. When your other half gets home, are the child care duties split or is it all you? We split them, but he is only home for about a week each month.

DH and I consider it all "our money". Even when I was working there was no "his" and "mine". I have fll access to all of our money.

I do have a vehicle.

I do most of the housework, but DH will jump in if needed.

DH is very hands on when it comes to the kids, always has been. There is really no need to "split" up duties. We just care for the kids, lol.
