Car Seat Nazis

How do you keep your kids warm if you're not supposed to put a bunting, snowsuit, or heavy coat on them in the car seat? Now I'm reading that the Bundle Me's are bad too.

Edit for all those that said the car heater will keep the baby warm. The car heater won't help when the baby is being moved in and out of the car in the carrier.

Edit II: After looking some more, I see there is a new version of the Bundle Me that does not cover the part of the car seat with the straps. It essentially wraps around the body of the carrier, with open space where the straps are. It's essentially the same as tucking a blanket around the baby, but better. It's elasticized, which seem safer to me, than having a loose blanket, which the baby could pull off and smother herself with.

Put them in their seat w/o a coat. Buckle them properly. Slide their coat on backwards.

Or put a blanket on them. Leave their hats and mittens on.

I want up my van before putting my kids in.

There's this fairly new invention called a car heater,  maybe you've heard of it?  It keeps the inside of the car warm,  really everyone should rush out and buy one!

If a car has a heater, kids will be plenty warm. I can wear a tank top in the car in the dead of winter and still feel warm.

Heater...I've never had to use anything other than the heater to keep the kids warm.

We take our coats off when we get to the car and put them on when we exit the car...blankets when they're little and when there's no way to heat the car first.

My baby was in a snowsuit, with special hole at the bottom for the strap. As were my oldest. Gosh we might as well stay in the house the rest of our lives.
