because my oldest ds(29) is dating a girl her age(21),i dont see the problem honestly. i dont mean to put down my dd but shes still in the party phase, and my ds's gf is in the career and buying a house phase, they are on completely different levels when it comes to maturity i honestly thought my ds's gf was his age or a little older. my dd is just focused on the age and grossed out,she wont even acknowledge the gf when she comes over...its getting rather annoying honestly

No offense, but your dd sounds immature.

She's 21 and "grossed out". She sounds very immature. Even if she is in the party stage, doesn't mean she should get grossed out by something like that.

Your dd sounds immature but I'm sure she'll get over it eventually.

Kinda sounds like maybe she's jealous that a girl her age has her shit together (so to speak - not saying that there's anything wrong with your daughter) and she does not.
