I have a wonderful dh, great provider, let me stop working to go back to school and loving you father. Only one problem, he is filthy. He claims he's not dirty, just cluttery. I've added pics of parts of our house and then "his area." I'm no amazing house keeper, but I hate cleaning up after him everyday. And please forgive my rental furniture, we just moved and haven't gotten our house goods yet. Ladies give me some tips on how to get my dh to be less "cluttery."

The first one is the kitchen, dining room, kittens room, my 4yo room, our room (we're always in here) and then my dh's area.

Not much you can do other than just ask him to clean up after himself from now on.

I've asked him before but I always just end up cleaning it. Maybe I should just not clean it and see how long it takes for him to do it.

Get him storage space for that area. At least if his clutter is in little drawers, or a covered ottoman you won't have to look at it.

ya throw your house shit in there and make it look like those house hoarders and then he will change his mind about clutter :)

Haha I thought it would help her. She was so tiny when we got her.

Well yeah, you should just stop cleaning it up.

for one, there is no storage. i would start in his office. take hiim with you to shop for the furniture. have a place for all his stuff. then make him responsible for keeping it picked up.
