My son spent $70 on a souvenir

We just went to Disney World. The first day, my son (6) saw this figure he wanted. It was going to take almost half his spending money so we had him wait and told him if he saved enough throughout the week, we'd go get it the last day. Well, sure enough, despite everything he saw that he wanted, he was sure to save $70 for this figure. He took such good care of it on the plane and making sure it got home safely. Isn't it just SO cute!? I'm so proud of him for choosing such a lasting souvenir rather than lots of junk.
ETA: I had no idea there were so many Stitch fans. :-) I love him.

Also, I can't even believe this needs to be said. This is not a stuffed animal nor an inflatable. It is art. It is a ceramic figurine designed by Britto. Most of you seemed to be able to tell though, lol.

When we went to Disneyland two years ago we told the kids they would each get one souvenier.  They had all day to choose but once they chose that was it.  My 8 year old (6 at the time) has wanted to be a chef since she was 2 years old.  In the first store we went in she saw an apron that you could embroider with your name, all day she went into each store and looked and never once asked for anything else.  As we were leaving she said she wanted that apron.  She loves it, and while we were getting in embroidered we told the story of how she wants to be a chef and the people who worked there made a button for it that said "Chef Megan 2012" on it.  She's going to have that forever, way more lasting than the souveniers the other kids picked.  It's adult sized, I can picture her wearing it when making Mickey Mouse pancakes for her own kids!

That stitch is adorable!  But I am pretty partial to Stitch ;)

Aww adorable. That was a good way of ensuring it's what he truly wanted.
