Summer wedding, bare legged or sheer hoisery?

Which one is appropriate? It's a semi formal ( groomsmen are wearing suits) event. The ceremony is outside at 5 pm and then a cocktail hour and an indoor reception at 7 pm.

Edit: would you go bare legged even if you were extremely pale with bad skin and unable to tan? ( burn, peel and white as Casper again) and here is a pic of the offending skin. That's not hair, it's hair follicles and they are always very obvious. My legs are shaved in the pic even though it doesn't seem like it :(. It's even worse looking in daylight.

Also I'm very short so long dresses look weird on me.

I always go bare legged. For one wedding, I used that spray on leg "make up". My legs looked really good for that one, lol

I haven't worn panty hose in over 20 years so I say bare leg.

I would do sheer hosiery but it can't be cheap hose.  I would suggest Hanes Silk Reflections.  Hose would make the wedding party look more finished and the ladies would be more comfortable in their heels.

I know this is going to sound snarky or dumb... but in all honesty, I didn't think anyone wore hose any more. I haven't seen hosiery on anyone for years.
